the Reader

My first blog ever on a last day of the month... irony huh?!

Well, this day started with a big BANG! A bang i got from a Physiology final exam - an exam with out of nowhere; student-enemy; so confusing choices - kinda type of questions. Annoying isn't it? Oh well, i got the hang of it after lying on my bed the whole afternoon... Depressing!

So what made me do this blog? Let's first start with the title. While on my way to recovery from that big BANG exam, i watched 2 movies (on dvd) - (1) the Reader starring Kate Winslet; (2) Confessions of a Shopaholic (it was funny but I kinda heart the former).

I was really amazed by the story of the Reader and it made me cry, deeply. it was about a young boy (around 15 years old) who fell in love with a woman twice his age. It's so kinda ideal because they both love each other and they really complete and complement one another. But one day - the conflict came - the woman left without any word and this left the young boy clueless. Nobody knew their romance and this was the start of the unending quest for the answers to the questions needed to be answered before ending the story. To make this short, the woman was imprisoned for life (but i guess it was just around 20 years) and the boy who turned into a man never showed himself to the woman until the day before the woman's freedom from the jail but it was too late. I advice you to watch the movie ASAP for better understanding. Swear! ;)

In line to this, I just want to share something which will all let us think how important LIFE is and the PEOPLE who matter to us:

* What IFs: A lot of things can happen to us in a day, and the best way to cherish them is to share it to people who are important to us. I mean, it's not everyday we're given a chance to explore the world or to meet somebody who will make our life memorable. So, why not SHARE our love or what we have while we still can? In this story, the guy never fought for what he felt and even years and years have passed his PAST kept haunting him. Even if he did reach his goals in life, he was never happy and satisfied.

Solution: What if he shared his feelings? What if he showed himself to the woman as early as possible? Or what if he was just being honest? Well, probably the other way could have happened... Right?

Ok, so what i got today will be part of yesterday but at least I let the world know through this blog what I have inside of me. I shared. How about you? Hope it's not too late to do something while you still can. Hurry! Time is gold. ; )

Remember: God didn't gave us a perfect life, but He gave us a lot of chances to make it perfect.

See ya around! ; )
